Challenge

The development of OK required creating a secure and efficient smart wallet application. It was essential to ensure the safety of sensitive user data while maintaining smooth and responsive functionality. This involved implementing HTTPS Certificate Pinning and Data Encryption to safeguard financial information. Additionally, transitioning the app’s architecture from MVC to MVP and Clean Architecture was necessary to enhance maintainability and scalability. Moving from a feature-based release process to a time-based approach was another critical improvement to ensure stable updates.

Results

The implemented changes resulted in a robust and secure application architecture. The integration of a Continuous Deployment Environment facilitated efficient and secure updates, improving the app’s reliability. Users experienced faster interactions and smoother performance due to architectural enhancements. By adopting a time-based release process, the development experience was streamlined, ensuring the delivery of a more stable and user-friendly application.
